Life After Death

In 2003, my book Soul Searching was published. It set out to compare ancient Jewish teachings about the afterlife with modern scientific research into near-death experiences (NDE’s) and reincarnation, and tried to show how time and again the two seemed to be talking about the same reality.

You can find out more about the book and the Jewish idea of the afterlife at my website, Jewish Soul Searching. I have also started a new blog on the same theme.

Buy it and see for yourself. As for smart gentiles, maybe they’re not a smart as they think, maybe they are smart but have free will to choose as they wish, not necessarily based on the truth, or maybe the book is about supplying a rational basis for the belief. Maybe it’s a combination of all three. Note: I know many “smart gentiles” (and Jews even!) who believe in an afterlife.

The book is an amazing one and provides great insight into the nature of the afterlife, the soul and more importantly the connection to our present. Simply put, it has afforded me the opportunity to appreciate life more than I could have before reading the book. A must read!

Hi Yaakov, I am truly a fan of your works. I myself loved similar writings as you, in particular Rav Miller’s sefarim, as well as Rav Ezriel Tauber. Both have changed my life. Please email me back at Mikhailfuzaylov@gmail.com I would like to share something that is very important with you, that I would rather not have public. I understand that you are very busy, but I feel that this is very important.
